Happy Chinese New Year!

For all of you who do celebrate it, Happy Chinese New Year! My family still celebrate it in the sense that I get money, and we eat obscene amounts, but it's no where near as big as an occasion as it would be if we were in China.
Here are some photos from my breakfast, which I thought I would share for some reason. I'm regretting not taking any photos of our lunch yesterday, as it was pretty epic; probably could have fed over double the amount of people we had.

I didn't use a proper noodle bowl (in case you didn't know, they're huge), as I don't think I could have managed that and pancakes after yesterday.

Bit of an odd combination, having noodles and then pancakes, but I'm not complaining.Breakfast also consisted of quite a few Lindt chocolates, so delicious!

I'm going to London on Tuesday, so I will probably do a day out post. Hope you all had a good week!

  2. Yum yum yum!
Thanks :) I have to admit though - the white wall is a bit of fake.. I put plywood over my carpet to make it more like a studio, and I photoshop out the skirting board and any surrounding clutter on the walls! Your outdoor photos are lovely, especially in the snow.

  7. I spent Chinese NY in Taiwan some years ago, it was pretty funny because the whole city was totally empty, everything closed. We thought there would be some fun celebration, but nothing at all :-(
Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year to you :-)
